I ask : Is there any way to verify the / etc / fstab in the error line ?

I upgraded the kernel from 2.6.18 to 2.6.32 , but when it starts on the wrong,
Tip unable to access resume device (/ dev/sda3) , etc.
I am now the system has two kernel 2.6.18 and 2.6.32 , 2.6.18 can also be normal
start is 2.6.32 does not start up . I have a grub environment
grub.conf to be executed in a 2.6.32 kernel command , both when possible,
is at boot time, or appears unable to access resume device (/ dev/sda3) and so on.
I find it very strange that the same fstab file , and why a kernel can start, a no.
I ask : 2.6.32 kernel at boot time , the ability to verify the error line in fstab ,
see if you can modify ?
------ Solution ---------------------------------------- ----
not going to validate fstab error number , will not compile your hard drive configuration items is not the same as before , ah
------ Solution -------- ------------------------------------
I mean make menuconfig configuration inside .
------ For reference only -------------------------------------- -
I upgraded the kernel, is covered by the original configuration files over, and then make i386_defconfig,
also moved in my hard drive , can I ask what was wrong yet
------ For reference only ------------------ ---------------------

My current system has two versions of the kernel , the original one can start .
If the hard disk configuration is not the same as before , so original that it should not be started , because two cores
are reading the same fstab file , is not it ?
