This article describes how to uninstall Symantec Backup Exec 2012 Agent for Linx. First we look at Symantec_Backup_Exec2012 Administrator's Guide document describes:

one on the Linux server, the Backup Exec installation media into the appropriate device.

 

2 Log in as root to uninstall the Linux Agent from the server.

 

3 Navigate to the Backup Exec installation media in the following directory: < / span>

 

4 Start uninstallralus script.

 

example: . / uninstallralus

 

5 Do one of the following:

 

type the Linux server name, IP address, or fully qualified domain name.

 

from one server to uninstall the Linux Agent

 

type the Linux server name, IP address, or fully

 

qualified domain name. Leave a space between each identifier.

 

from multiple servers to uninstall Linux Agent

 

6 press Enter.

 

seven successful completion Linux Agent package checking, press Enter.

 

8 When you are prompted to uninstall RALUS packages, press Enter.

 

9 When you are prompted to uninstall SymSnap driver, press Enter.

 

10 To uninstall summary saved to the following location on a Linux server, press Enter:

 

/ opt / VRTS / install / logs / uninstallralus
